A New Mexico business since 1986.
What is your primary product or service?
DRB provides electrical contracting, maintenance, and low voltage technologies services to commercial, industrial and residential customers statewide. Clients include hospitals, churches, industrial manufacturing plants, schools,
government installations, cable TV and satellite distribution sites, office buildings, and shopping centers. The company specializes in new construction, improvements and remodels, design/build, value added and cost-saving engineering,
aviation, sports and parking area lighting, manufacturing and industrial plants, waste water and well facilities and lightning protection;and is fully certified as installers of voice and data communications systems. A separate service department, DRB On Call, provides 24-hour service.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Randy Baker followed in his father�s footsteps and started D.R.B. Electric Inc., one of the industry�s leading electrical and telecommunications Contractors in NM. Randy's personable style and thorough understanding of the industry has
enabled him to maintain long-established relationships with major contractors and clients.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
DRB�s apprentices are required to complete the Associated Builders and Contractors� nationally accredited, four-year apprentice program,
which focuses on education and safety and allows our electricians to stay abreast of current regulations and industry standards. Annually, since 2002, DRB has received ABC�s prestigious "Platinum Level Safety Training and Evaluation Process" award.
DRB Electric and its owners have been recognized by numerous organizations for their positive contributions to both the construction industry and their community, including Samaritan Counseling Center�s Ethics in Business Award, NAWBO�s �Member of the Year,� and �Business Owner of the Year� by the South Valley Exchange Club
